I can also confirm Megas are returning and you betcha Team Galactic will be doing something dreadful with them.... (M) Palkia (M) Dialga and a New Giritina form currently under the name Distortion Giritina. Which will be revised and changed soon.
One other thing this person forgot to mention was the addition of the Kalos <-> Sinnoh Train Station
This train station will allow you to visit certain routes each day with partner pokemon. (Not your entire team) This pokemon will also follow behind you. (Only certain pokemon can follow and I will be adding a list later on)
The game is currently set for release for November 2017. They will tell you Fall though.
