Didn't try to have Silver use the Gen1 Time Machine (as it'd take a bit to unlock it), but I did try the inverse, and that did not work. My guess is it wouldn't work as Gold 97 already recognizes Silver as a Gen 2 game. Might try Yellow later. And if nothing comes out in a few days, I'll progress through Silver to get the time machine working. If there is something else someone wants me to test, let me know.
