Originally on my first red playthrough it was Venusaur. I was around 5 or 6 at the time. Playing my red version in my red gameboy pocket. I of course played it like most people do on their first ever playthrough of a pokemon game. My Venusaur ended up being 30 levels higher than most anything else and he wrecked. As I continued to playthrough the game again and again on family road trips and whenever I was bored on a rainy day I found that I liked Golbat after finally leveling a Zubat. I figured he would be useless since Zubat is so prevalent and annoying. Poisoning pokemon was ridiculously useful and combined with confusion inducing moves it was an excellent way to slowly destroy the opposing team. Then silver came out. And he evolved. Into Crobat. I was so amazed by this pokemon at the time. More powerful than Golbat, much faster, and wonderful new moves. And Fly.
Thus Brobat was born.
Haven't done a playthrough of a game where he can be caught without him since. He is my lead.

I already have on White 2 my fully EVd, ideal natured/ability mons, so I have to wait for Pokemon Bank to come out. Those guys are:

(My Ground/Steel/Rock team)

Zoroark
Chandelure
Haxorus

I don't know who I'm going to keep for a final team, I can always rotate out. But I'm thinking the next dude I either want to pursue is Scizor (I thought I bred a perfect Scyther, but I can't find it anywhere) or Crobat.

Are they worth it? They happen to be two of my favorites of all time, but competitively speaking?
