The MCs? The author has been running out of ideas to keep them "unique" for a while already. I mean, seriously, a cop, a delivery boy and a fucking blacksmith? Is that the best shit he can come up with?
The story? Quality varies from arc to arc, and even then, there's always full retard shit like Red being redeemed as the strongest there is without actually challenging the full Elite 4, the stupidity of Kanto kids being so special for a creepy old man to strip them away from their lives just to get a Lapras back, and the asspulled Celebi from RS. Don't even get me started on the last three arcs or so.
Edge? Yeah, because seeing a girl wearing a giant ball head pursuing a kid is totally too hard for young minds.
