With Surf, I can head to the abandoned Laboratory in Gamboge. After going through a puzzle similar to that of Tin Tower, I find a working machine made to convert fossils.
I had received a fossil earlier, but it was a key item so I assumed it was just part of a fetch quest and never mentioned it. I put the fossil in, and out pops an Archen, which is easily caught.
Without Defeatist to fuck it up, I imagine Archeops is killer in this game so I'm using it; I just can't think of a nickname. I usually just name any Archops "FLAP HARDER" because of its XY model but that doesn't work in this hack since it's sprite-based. Any nicknames?
