>>28312397>Kalos>ComfyShit taste lol. Gen 6 was objectively uncomfy for one reason: Gamefreak in their usual laziness kept the overworld isometric even though they transitioned to full 3D. Unlike say Genius Sonority's gamecube RPGs, where the 3D environments looked fluid and natural, X/Y/OR/AS had environments that looked blocky and repetitive to the point they ruined immersion.
I'm hoping SM don't force the grid onto a 3D world as blatantly as Gen 6 did, but the little we've seen from trailers looks like an improvement.
