Add to this, it's even that hard to change Ash greninja's design to fit the main character of alola, just change the red for blue and the peach for white, and wow, so fucking hard
Also since battle bond is an "ultimate bond" type of form, renaming is also easy cuz U-greninja can have 2 connotation to it as ultimate or (you), and i DOUBT little kiddies would be angry over the title "ash" being removed and greninja becoming theirs personally
and it would he a fucking killer in merch cuz kids would love shit like this i imagine, but hey, what do i know, im apparently just a stoopid gaijin
