Personal experience:

>Penta perfect Charmander within 1 or 2 boxes. Really fast.

Those are all my shinies. Overall I feel lucky with Masuda. Unfortunately never had a random encounter with a shiny pokemon.

Pic related. I think it is my favorite shiny considering the ones I have. I still feel like MMing a pentaperfect of it.

Totally keeping it then! 29 HP won't make a huge difference if compared to 31. Best thing is that I got it withing 3 boxes.
