>>51744000nice digits, I'll elaborate on why though
>1. thick HP barsanons love it, and for good reason - when your Pokémon loses HP, it really feels like a chunk of their health is depleting
with slim bars like in PLA or SwShit, it's more of a "oh yeah, I took damage i guess" kind of thing.
>2. shoulder POVin PLA, you're controlling the player - gives you a distant feel from your Pokémon (which hey, that makes sense for PLA's context)
while with shoulder POV, you're directly keeping an eye on your Pokémon, you're controlling the Pokémon, really
>3. brighter colorsmaybe this is not the case everywhere in SV, but it seems to have Pokemon rendered in a much brighter color than PLA, which basically had all models be some kind of grey
gives a more direct connexion to the game basically
overall, while SV is still a disappointment by the fact Pokemon don't directly attack you like they did in PLA (which was basically 80% of what made PLA close to good), and sad we regressed hard from PLA's battle menus too. because they were so based
It still has much more identity than Gens 6-8, for better or worse sure, but it is undeniable either way
