NZ is a pretty green place so maybe some sort of team who wants to utilise the isolated location, untapped resource etc? i dont know.

each gym has only one leader, that requires a sidequest to challenge. Probably bringing them something from another area.

obviously based on New zealand wildlife. Theres lots of cool extinct nativa animals that would make great pokemon. I'd love a Tuatara(lizard), kakapo(bird) and moa(image attached) for starters.
