>>26436109Hello fellow collector. Ninetales/Machamp aren't that rare because they were part of decks back then. Chansey/Zam go for good bucks depending on the rarity (shadowless/1st ed/etc) and obviously their condition. A Charizard in good condition ALWAYS go for big bucks (not saying hundreds or thousands, but at least 20, so the anon telling you you bought 25$ of cards is a dumbass).
If we use T&T's lowest prices for near-mint cards, you get a total of 75$ (6 Chansey, 3.80 Machamp, 53 Charizard, 2.80 Ninetales, 9,50 Alakazam).
There is a chance you could have found a Charizard for lower on eBay, but it would have still been for at least 40$.
Overall, you might have not done the best deal, but it's not like you got ripped off either. To top it off, you didn't have to pay for shipping and you were sure of their condition as you saw them up-close.
