Swoobat's actually not terrible, it actually gets Calm Mind and good dual STABs. Only problem is it can't switch in on anything and I know for a fact Marshal has rock moves. In theory it could 1v1 Caitlin
54 is the level cap. So technically Braviary is usable but it basically can't fight at all before that. Larvesta and Zweilous have the meme factor but that can only carry you so far.

You could do a lot worse than special Rapidash. Shiny Mankey reminds me of Grookey which is hilarious. I have a shiny on SacredGold too but I don't want to grind right after grinding. I might give another shot at a no grind locke for FireRed.
