>>48983755If you don't like using newer Pokemon, then just don't use them. Having access to 335 more Pokemon than the originals was the only major selling point to me to play ORAS over Emerald. I don't care that much about the Dexnav, Soaring, Super Secret Bases, Physical-Special Split, Day-Night Cycle, Fairy type, stronger Elite Four Rematches, Amie minigames, PSS/Online, O-Powers, etc. All of that combined can't make up for the loss of the Battle Frontier and gimping of contests and routes. However, the ability to use Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos Pokemon in Hoenn makes ORAS a sidegrade to Emerald, even if it's not an upgrade. The most significant addition in BDSP is the Grand Underground, and that's simply not enough to justify playing it over Platinum. It's not a sidegrade to Platinum. It's only a upgrade to DP and that's not enough to justify them as remakes. BDSP are objectively probably better remakes than LGPE at least since they retain the core gameplay mechanics, but LGPE at least has the best graphics of any Pokemon game and following Pokemon are implemented well in LGPE. BDSP just seems so unnecessary. Everything new and substantial is going to be thrown into PLA, but you'll never be able to use newer Pokemon in the Sinnoh games, only in a reimagined ancient Sinnoh/"Hisui", and that too will have a very limited Dex.
