>>56078199Its fine if you doubt it, it sounds a bit unbelievable, but it makes more sense when you think about it. Steven has three non-steels, and two of them have subpar attack stats, with both prioritizing non-offensive moves (Ingrain and the Screens) which makes them Toxic fodder.
Dustox is ironically pretty useful because of its weaknesses too. Steven WILL try to kill it, and it gives you free predictable pivots. Cradily in particular is very susceptible to PP stall, and Toxic speeds up the process agains Ingrain. If you did the extra investment like i did, you can teach it Swagger on the move tutor and cointoss against the steels. Aggron and Armaldo will chunk themselves hard if they hit themselves, and pivoting/protecting makes it really easy for it to go in your favor. It wall works because of one overlooked shitmon bug. Its not a perfect strategy, you have to land some stuff at the right time, but its one of those things that make me feel proud long after i did it. You really can win with your favorites, Anon.
