>>24576762No, I didn't watch the dub. Reread what I said. I said nuances of language. See, a problem with translating languages is that deeper context is often missed, and especially if certain language is used in only certain ways, it's hard if not impossible for translation to catch that, or convey it properly. It's a natural feature of language in general. I'm sure you've heard the legend that Inuit language has this many words for different kinds of snow. Or there's that quirk of certain words in German that are hard to translate because they are basically a stream of thoughts or verbs or state of being. Translation isn't a 1-to-1 thing. You have to look at context, sentence structure, and sometimes even further, look at cultural practices behind it that help explain certain words or phrases. It's even more prevalent here because English and Japanese are on two completely different linguistic trees. It's hard enough getting accurate translation for older "high order" Sanskrit/Urdu and Persian literature even though they are still part of the same tree as English. Japanese is not even closely related. Forget different approaches to text and script, Sinic languages are just pronounced totally different.
Getting back to point, what this means is I was saying that maybe some nuance was missed, because I watch it and rewatch it, and am apparently missing something.

Not that I don't love you all.
