>>54015693>StoryBest it has been in ages, possibly ever if the DLC is good.
I liked splitting it into 3 "paths" that then connected for the finale. Penny's story is the weakest of the three by far though, but she's still ok.
Ending was kino, I didn't see the twist coming (although the professor's robotic animations gave it away, I just thought it was GF's utter incompetence and not on purpose, kek) and it actually had great cinematography and music. I was really surprised, I didn't think GF had it in them to make something like this.
And it set up a bunch of hints and mysteries that people are still discussing, I really like that.

>PokemonPretty good. I like all 3 final starter evos, there's a handful of great mons like Garganacl, Ceruledge and even Kilowattrel despite being a regional bird. The Ruinous Quartet is really fucking sick, but suffers under sloppy implementation. And it's probably the first time I actually like and care about the box legendaries due to how they were integrated in the story.
There's also some really mid mons, but almost none that I hate.
Convergent species are a cool idea, but it's lame that we got only 2 (lines) of them. Toedscruel is really cool, but Wugtrio is awful.
Paradox Pokémon are pretty cool too, but the Future Paradoxes were pretty disappointing, especially Iron Jugulis. Literally Hydreigon but as a robot. They could've gotten way more creative with these. Past Paradoxes are better but I had Violet because I preferred Miraidon's bike animations and the uniforms.

>Gameplay mechanicsWell, it's Pokémon, you know what you'll get.
I don't really like open world games in general, but it was executed OK I guess. I liked that you could craft TMs with resources, that fixes some issues with single use TMs vs infinitely usable TMs since the latter caused you to get absolute shit TMs in SwSh until lategame.
Tera Types are the best gimmick so far, even if it looks stupid.
