the one without megas is probably every pokemon game prior to X and Y, with the remakes taking over the old ones
the universe with is xy and oras, with oras taking place after xy due to xy being more mysterious about mega evolution and so little people knowing about it. naturally, in oras, people know more about mega evo, so it wouldnt make sense to have oras take place prior to xy
