Splatoon has customization out the ass, you can make some really nice stuff because of the sheer volume of clothes to wear.
Pokemon is busy either cutting customization from the game, or giving you an extremely limited selection of clothes.

These games won't let you be even 1/4th as fresh as Splatoon considering that it's Gamefreak we're dealing with.
