Hi /vp/, just came here to thank you. I was lurking the other night and saw a link to a 101 deck building here in one of these tcgo general threads and decided to go back and give TCGO another try.
I had an account since the beta, when it was just online and you didn't need to download anything. I used to play these in physical form when they just came out, till the "neo" sets came out and really enjoyed it but we quit playing.
I played 'till beating the golden cup and then some more to get those 3 theme decks added to the deck builder, then went there and made and "unlimited" deck following basic advice. I had a couple of Strong energies, and 2 double colorless so i decided to go for normal / fighting without too much hope, as I had close to no decent cards. Just 2 or 3 of the trainers named in the 101 deck building faq.
The thing is this guy has become bro tier for me! I only played like 5 matches but lost none. It's really very few matches to judge now, but I was pretty surprised to see a lot of decks with almost all pokemon Ex cards, and lot's of great rare cards being beaten with uncommons and stuff.
To think I wasted all those years back always playing 2 types instead of going monotype. Anyways, thanks /vp/ !! I'm glad to be back even if it's just a few hours a day.
