I'm a zoomie so I started with Gen 6, and I put in tons of hours into XY and ORAS without ever coming across a shiny, so I was really excited when it popped up. I believe I found it where the Grass trial is held, when I was trying to fill out the Pokedex in the post-game.
I named it Autumn because of the color scheme and the first thing I did after I caught it was look up how good it was competitively so I could battle with it online. I was disappointed at first that it's a shitmon, but I still trained it and evolved it into a Shiinotic. It's really fun to use and it's still one of my top bromons to this day.
Autumn is still sitting in Moon at level 100, since I haven't bought SWSH, but every now and then I fire up my 3DS and pay him and my other bros a visit.
