One of the best Routes in the game especially because of the Mook Boss fight at the end if you're oblivious enough to walk into both Ace Trainer's line of sights. Also something I noticed with a lot of the Galar Routes is they have just this clear path for you to walk along with no tall grass, like I know the encounter stuff was changed but it makes the critical path really blatant and removes that element of wilderness from several of the Routes.

I don't want an open world game like BoTW or Skyrim, but actual fucking routes like the previous games had in a higher quality style.
The Switch is able to process that, GF is just lazy.

This is the one for me.

I remember struggling to get through it the first time without going back to heal and having a blast with it. When I got past the double battle and went through the gate I was legitimately relieved I'd made it through.

I try to emulate HGSS's style with my maps but honestly a lot of johto routes are different from others in the series because many of them are very wide open and arent really closed in by trees/nature.

Pic related is a route I really like though. A lot of Sinnoh's routes are well done and feel very 'natural' and have a lot of depth to them despite being fairly straightforward

Alright, final bit of Sinnoh spurge. I just think they really nailed conveying Sinnoh's craggy and mountainous terrain. The routes feel messy and disjointed in a really nice way that gives a sort of sense of accomplishment when you actually get through it, while still enjoying the route.
