Shiny hunting in Rad Red on an emulator is just the right amount of balance between fun and investment. It takes roughly 15 minutes to get 100 encounters, then around 5 to hit the shiny on 101 with savestates.
Have a gligar with bad stats on backup; currently hunting sigilyph for a much needed flyer, and going for a standard stinfisk after for a much needed specific ground type with water immunity. Might get golurk after for a phys ghost, but might get drifblim instead for a flyer and ghost type in one.
