You are a famed treasure hunter. And guess what? You’re going to a desert. A large one, and this one holds the supposedly mythical Golden Claydol. It’s another statue, obviously made of pure gold. Let’s see who will accompany you this time.
The first pokemon you thought of, is your travel partner. He/she/it will protect you from the monsters that inhabit the desert. Krookodiles, Hippowdons, and Cacturnes.
>Garchomp
The second pokemon you thought of will provide you water and a cooling source.
>Tyranitar
The final pokemon you thought of will be the one to cover you from the occasional sandstorm. It will literally grab you by the neck and hug your ass until the whole storm bypasses.
>Steelix
Day: Forty-Seven
Shit. Another day of relentless assaults from the flora and fauna of this utter hellhole. We've been a month now without any medical supplies, and despite it's best efforts, Archer is being worn down against the constant assaults, especially when Hippowdon are so resilient. I fear the worst for it, but I also trust in it to do it's duty, as it has trusted in me to do mine. It has been an incredibly faithful and powerful ally, travelling through even the deserts of Hoenn and Orre when it was merely a Gible; but without a reliable form of recovery (save the occasional rest when we are at peace) it cannot hold out forever. These Krookodile have too much moxie, and at night they attack even more viciously, preferring to leave us and the Cacturne to fight during the day. His rough skin punishes any that manage to hit him; observing him fight in his natural element is akin to a sikh, easily skirting around enemies, before getting close and viciously slashing, or biting, or bursting jets of fire. When times are desperate, he has even summoned meteors from the sky to pummel the more resilient of Hippowdon.
