In SwSh, the max you get without specific methods like Friendship-increasing berries and playing with your Pokemon in camp is 160, which doesn't do anything special. Above that is when you get ashpull shit. I don't know if BDSP makes following Pokemon go over the 160 threshold, but leakers will probably figure that out real soon.
