There’s nothing inherently wrong with the design. It’s a sleek, clean design but after 1000+ Pokémon I’m just not interested in ‘bird but he electric.’ It’s not fair considering if it was a Gen 1 mon it would mog Pidgeot and Fearow but 9 gens in I just get a ‘Is that all?’ feeling. One of the other birds is largely just as simple but has an organic design gimmick that I think makes it way more interesting in design, gameplay and lore.
