Honestly the fact that Game Freak had the balls to begin with to make things actually decently challenging for once makes me realize they've been holding back a lot more than I realized this entire time. Sure, I have a shitty team I haphazardly slapped together by using whatever I found while going through the story but as long as they were a bunch of levels above whatever I was battling, that was typically enough to get by with no problems. Level 100 shitmons can obliterate any Champion, but god help me when I find a random trainer in the Terarium that takes out 4 of my guys. But I loved being put in my place like that because it was way more engaging than ripping through every guy I came across that uses like 2 mons that any schmuck can catch in the local area. For once I had to think about my in-game team.
>wow anon are you retarded?
Yes. That's what I'm saying, actually. Mega-retards like me were finally being put on blast. The series has sorely needed this because Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra were abysmally simple.
