People that support terrible consumer practices like this don't deserve sympathy because they're just affirming the multi-billion dollar corporation's viewpoint that they can turn out mediocre products and still expect good reception and sales.
They both deserve to have anger directed at them, they're two cogs in the same machine. Who the fuck are you to tell me which half of the same machine to direct my anger towards? It couldn't function if you removed either part, I'm directing my anger at the machine as a whole. That includes the corporation and the consumers that support it.
