That's a lie and you know it.

They're all just really blatant cutesy things made to be sold as plushies. Granted, Dedenne is especially overly cute, but it still has SOMETHING interesting to it (being a fat little hampster + cheek pouch). The rest are just blatant clones of pikachu, except for this new one. That being said, the new one is horrible because it just looks so incredibly fucking stupid. The tail sprouts from the middle of its back, the """"spikes"""" are just 2D triangles, and its body is literally just a sphere.

The Japanese Sun/Moon trailer started making me cry uncontrollably the moment the kid stepped out of the car to go play Pokemon with other people. I'm already getting teary-eyed just thinking about it.
