Gen 5's aliased as fuck animated sprites range from garish to acceptable, but something about Onix's sprite is just offensively bad to me. Like Onix is just in a whole tier of bad on its own. The first time I ever saw any Gen 5 gameplay was my friend fighting a wild Onix and it just stuck with me, like the first time you hit a wild animal with your car.
