Played through Dewford Town. In the lead-up to the battle, both Kaiser and Ame evolved. Grovyle is Grass/Dragon in this game--fun! Brawly wiped me on my trial playthrough, because his Heracross is quite scary with a few Bulk Ups. This time though, having a Special-Flying attacker in Silkar made this far more doable, and we cleared the fight with no casualties.
Oh yeah: the game has a Wishing Well, which is basically a built-in wonder trade. I'm granting myself a single Wishing Well encounter per gym badge, just because I thought it'd be fun. That's why we have a level one Lileep and Doduo. Probably will not use Lileep as long as Ame is around, but hey, might consider a Dodrio on the team.
