>>40338573>overworld encounters>open world and free camera area*In one area of the game
**Which by far looks worse than every other area of the game
>More trainer customization optionsNot really saying a lot given how bare-bones previous trainer customization options were.
>More regional variansOh boy, pokemon that are just recolors of preexisting pokemon, how "exciting".
>Removed Megas and Z-MovesAnd replaced them with an equally obnoxious, yet less unique gimmick.
>Expressive new animations like pokemon roaring when they dynamaxNot a new animation.
>The player character looking down when they're walking down stairsThe concept of the player looking where they're going isn't really a selling point, more of an expected standard.
>NPCs turning and waving at you when you pass bySee above
>Improved Pokemon modelsThe textures were upscaled because that's another industry standard that would be shocking if absent. The models, if not the same, were made to look identical to the old models, thus not an improvement.
>Story is intriguingWe literally don't know the story.
>Return of asshole rivalsDoesn't really mean jack shit when you still have Hop stapled onto you to be your government assigned friend who will likely babble at you on a constant basis like Lillie.
>Challenging co-op battlesWe don't know if they're going to be challenging. Considering it's four people fighting one pokemon, they probably won't be. It'd be cool if you had the option to fight it solo but having to connect to Nintendo's infamously dogshit online every time I wanna do a raid is gonna be obnoxious.
>Being able to change Pokemon naturesOne of the only two things on this list that are positive and it's an incredibly minor feature that will have no weight on the singleplayer. Still, it is a good thing, I'll give you that.
>Auto runCan it be toggled? If not, lame.
>PSSThe second good thing on this list.
So that's two positive changes for a game that costs 50% more.
