Poisons main problem is that its roster is very weak. Since it's one of the more unpopular types and the designated "bad guy type", it gets very few new additions, most of them with low BSTs so you don't run into a pseudo while fighting regular grunts.
As of now, more than half of Poisons reps are Gen I, where they slapped Poison on to anything that looked kinda mean. Additionally, it's so far the only type that has no legendaries (while Fairy has been around for 3 years and has several).
With Poison being my favorite type, this makes me pretty sad.
