Replace confuse ray with Taunt. Taunting set up or status based pokemon is key to the success of a Sableye. Also, HP is much more important that Defense for a bulky pokemon.
The investments should be 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def,
4 Spd, to taunt other pranksters. You do not want to lose the speed duel against another Sableye, ever.
I would also give him Leftovers and run Foul Play over Trick, since it uses the opponent's attack, is unaffected by burn, and makes Sableye hard to switch in to with Espeon, its otherwise perfect counter.
Speaking of burn, it's exactly why you don't invest in Defense. Will-O-wisp takes care of any physical threat and HP is overall better.
