My favorite apparently died at some point though, RIP in peace ;_;Sometimes if I'm making a group of characters I'll use a theme for them, also original gym leaders get names based on their type, of course.
I will occasionally give them some kind of meaningful name, but only if it's something subtle, because really obvious names are stupid in my opinion.
