Tho if memory serves, Kukui's thing is to tank the attacks, right? And Ayumu focuses on evasion. . . but then again, the objective of the training is for them to be able to hit him anyways, so in the end he *will* have to tank (and that doubles as training for himself as well, since if danger arises, he can enter in front of a incoming attack and probably survive).
