-Alright, so for the first stage, my Grass starter would be based on an African Wild Dog pup. For the most part it would basically be the started,”cute baby animal colored green” but I think I have a neat idea going here. A common complaint I see with Fakemon, especially starters is “It’s just X animal with Y element slapped on”. I think my concept here avoids that pretty well. On either side of this form’s neck are two developing buds. Obviously these will come into play in the evolutions. This form’s color scheme is green with red splotches.
-When it evolves, this Pokemon completely switches design inspiration, going from an AFW to a spotted hyena. One of the bulbs has finally sprouted, and boy is it a doozy. Out of the bulb sprouts a large menacing “head” resembling a Piranha Plant from the Mario franchise. This “second head” isn’t actually a head at all, and functions more like an arm of sorts. This new appendage is the source for all of this Pokemon’s Special attacks. The red splotches on this form now resemble the seeds of a pomegranate.
-The third stage once again changes species, now becoming a Hyaenodon, a prehistoric carnivore that, despite the name, are not related to modern hyenas. The second bulb has sprouted, now essentially giving this creature six limbs. The false heads of the creature have changed as well, their appearance now being a cross of the previous Piranha Plant inspiration with some mammalian features. Some of the red splotches now resemble full-grown pomegranates. Perhaps this stage and the previous stage would incorporate some brown or black, just to change up the color scheme a little. The main inspiration behind this line is Cerberus, the hellhound from Greek mythology. Perhaps to reflect this it would become part Ghost.
