Only a few cards from Fusion Strike, Brilliant Stars, Astral Radiance and Lost Origin are THAT expensive. This wasn't my argument though? And if you really want to go that way, there are a plethora of cards in Base Set (1st ed) that are more expensive than every promo (which is what i'm considering "1st ed" Machamp as) from Lost Origins combined. Plus I already said, I don't believe in base set, I don't care for it or the art, but you can't deny that it had a lasting impact.
