>>48763812Hmm, it's hard to say. He's just...cool. Agile Pokemon in general are just badass, plus looking at him gives me the impression that he's pretty chill and would do well under pressure. I found it totally fucking cool that he could learn Dragon Claw when I was a kid, since my favorite type is actually Dragon. If I had to pick the exact moment he (or rather that whole evo line) became my favorite, it was when I first saw the Leaf Blade animation. It's such a cool fucking move, and it felt satisfying to use every single time. It's not as cool after gen 3 imo, but yeah. I was totally elated at the fact that his mega got a Dragon typing back in ORAS, I thought it was so cool and fitting. My only hang up with him is that he's a special attacker, I wish he was a physical attacker. Whenever I think of Sceptile attacking, I imagine him slicing his enemies up with Leaf Blade, or slamming them with his tail. Things like Dragon Pulse and Energy Ball just don't suit him.
