I'm still messing around with my default outfit over a month after release while I threw this one together in like an hour and as far as I can tell it's already perfect. I'd wait until you're done the tutorial and the day/night cycle starts before you worry about it too much though, it's tough to afford clothes when your only source of income is mushrooms
