Route 11 to be fair is a fine Route, for a medium sized route it's perfectly functional. Attached is a redo of Route 6 which I would consider one of the worse Routes in Alola, I think the reason the Route ends up being so barren in the original is because they keep blocking the player from accessing it until they beat Lana. Personally I'd opt to drop that Stoutland wanker and instead just provide a one-way ledge with a body of water next to it, that way you can still explore the Route freely but need to get Ride Lapras. Also obviously since in Gen III the player is only one tile wide that's why the bodies of water are so narrow, in actual 3D they'd be wider. Also added a small cave that would be like a prelude to Wela Volcano Park letting the player pick up some of the Fire-Types earlier, maybe like the side path in Ten Carat Hill the end of the cave would come to an outlook over Wela Volcano Park as a sort of teaser to the player.
