Cartoon Network does not fund the dub at all, it's all TPCi's money. Cartoon Network ONLY funds its original shows, ie: shows they make. They do not make Pokemon, they have no part in it, they have nothing to do with the show other than airing it and licensing episodes to air.
Like seriously holy shit I feel like half of you don't even know what the fuck Cartoon Network even does beyond Pokemon, everyone here seems to flock to the "i-it's Adventure Time's fault!" defense.
