And here's the bros unfortunate enough to get stuck dealing with this retardation
Honestly, outside of the riolufaggot, melmetalnigger and the swampertshit, it wasn't THAT bad t b h. Sure, some were pretty shit, but not within unexpected levels
The niggery with the ability descriptions should really be dealt with though, I shouldn't have to sift through the scripts to find out what a retarded ability does because the dev didn't feel like making a description for it.
I guess review
>The good
-A lot of the visuals got a huge upgrade since the last time I played. The new battle UI is really sovlful, the addition of cgs is nice (though they're few and far in between for the moment), a lot of the fakemon/trainer sprites are pretty good, etc.
-The roleshit is still pretty good. It's a fun way to unlock some fun illegal abilities and moves for yourself, from last I played, there's been a lot more custom abilities and moves too, which is pretty fun.
-The mentor's storyline is also a lot more fleshed out this time around. I'm not sure if the others got the same treatment as Born did, but if they're unique enough from born's, I could see myself replaying the game later on down the line, if only to see them and mess with other roles.
>Neutral
-The game's gameplay loop is still basically the same (and boring) as it was, just with a bit more shit to do. After you're done exploring the new areas you unlock at every rank, which you can knock out in 2-3 ingame days if you're being efficient, the rest of your time is doing the same shit to grind your skills for the rest of the week.
-The mentor battles are a lot less retarded this time around, which is appreciated kek.
-While I'm not a fan of how often I had to open up the documentation on shit like the custom moves and whatnot, I do appreciate that it was documented at least.
