I only passively watched X&Y unlike most of the board, but i hadn't actually payed attention to just how much Charizard worship the season had because everyone just points out the obvious gym loss. When you put it that way it actually is pretty infuriating that htey'd go that far. I guess they were sloppingly apologizing for having Charizard be so shit in the games for over a decade? It's still pretty messed up.
