>50/50it's not. when i use chomp assuming i outspeed i have the option to spam sub until they miss for a free turn. or i can just play normally and use my other moves. this isn't a gimped set and certainly not a '50/50' set. it just so happened that in this particular match, it came down to something like that (seriously if someone can do the math on the chances of dragon rush landing vs brightpowder sandveil in effect that'd be great) BUT that's because of an outplay earlier in the match, and my chomp not being jolly. has nothing to do with the set i'm running.
>>39763535yeah but i'm not relying on chance. it's just a bonus. half the time i don't even use substitute i just go for eq/dragon claw and my chomp is working like any other champ. then quite often they miss and i have a free turn. it's not a bad set.
>>39763526stop pretending jolly is infinitely superior. if anything it's like a 60/40 in jolly's favor not more than that. adamant gets me one shots/two shots that jolly won't. jolly lets me outspeed certain things. one option doesn't completely negate the other one because they're both good and viable.
