>>34488364Ecruteak opens up a lot of thing, so I might have to split this into 2.
I started by going east, where a Hiker just ran up to me and handed me an HM. By his body language and hurry, I'd say this was stolen, but if asked I'll claim that I didn't know. No judge would convict a kid.
Surfing east, I found myself face to face with Articuno, which I obviously failed to catch. Decided to head inside Mt. Mortar, where I met Sloog, a pretty chill Shellos. He's all about pacifism, so going into the PC was a no-brainer. Mt. Mortar also has both Regice AND Regirock. Not only that, but the WATER is infested with RegiROCK. Seriously, how?
Turning around I spent a little bit chasing the 2 dogs to get their pokedex entries, then headed to Route 38. Found myself facing a totally radical Slowbro named Tubular, who joined our gang because he figured we could help him get more weed. Whatever works, I guess.
Going down to R39, I found a Whiscash trying to cheat out Grimace, so I put a stop to that right then and there. Catfish apologized and we allowed her to join, on the condition she uses her wiles in our favor.
I reached Olivine and bumped into /vp/, who got intimidated and fled. Pansy. After bullying the local Fishing Association to give me a Good Rod, I went down to fish at the docks when an Aron ran up to me and hid behind me. Some guys came asking for it, but I ponted them the other way. The little gal was so happy and adorable I had to keep her, so Cindy is now one of us. She seems quite Hardy, despite her small size.
On R40, I fished up a Lotad, whose Naivité prevented him from making a fuzz until it was too late. Amingo has potential, but only time will tell. The water was filled to the brim with Gengars, with those bastards spamming Destiny Bond. I had WAY too many close calls with those purple faggots.
