With moving onto console where every other Nintendo big IP has dlc, GF should invest small art and balance team that would give update patches that would:
1.Nerf/Buff problematic mons.
2.A new Gigantomax form as a goalpost
3.Give random NPCs that you have to FIND a few generic missions for rare or new battle items.
This would only have to happen one every 3 months at the most and stop a year prior to the next gen's release for marketing purposes.
This would give the current generation more content to grind and a living meta giving and support post game and competitive play and even support and promote non-game pokemon related events.
While EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!! works on the next game.
