It's kind of like a /vg/ thread for a game that's either stopped having updates, lost relevance, or became shit. People start to leave and new people stop coming in, and at that point you've got yourself a weird ecosystem of the same handful of people shitposting, image dumping, and ritual posting amongst themselves.
