No one is "loyal" to Dexit, they're loyal to the company. Whatever the company does is good, and whoever speaks against them is bad.
If Gamefreak announced that the Natdex and all Pokemon would be coming back next generation, the same people who defended GF would cheer and celebrate because now we get all the Pokemon again!! because the company said it's a good thing to want and get excited over, therefore it's okay to want all the Pokemon now.
Nobody actually wanted Dexit, people coped and said well maybe the dexcut can be for quality control, which SWSH and SV have proved is blatantly untrue, so now instead of trying to justify why the Pokemon aren't in the game, they just insult you for having standards instead. "No one cares about Maractus or Stantler or your favorite cut starter, unless they get added to the game later, then I'm glad we get to catch them in a raid."
There's no conviction to these people, no personal opinions, don't bother trying to think about it like they're rational human beings, as soon as you understand that GF drones' opinions operate on a sliding scale of 'whatever gamefreak does is okay', it makes sense.
