>Other IdeasThe plot doesn’t suffocate the sense of exploration and adventure in this game(think sevii islands wilderness). Between gyms, there are plenty of side quests available that open up deeper wilderness areas of the region with different pokemon. For example: a small village can’t produce crops because of a lack of water from the river they have used for generations. Upon investigation, you discover a group of bidoofs have dammed off the river higher up the stream. By exploring, you find a new location the bidoofs can use. The new dam ends up working like bridge you can use to access a new area. A win win for everyone.
WiFi allows co-op play in which your friends appear along-side and you can work together on certain side quests; double battling and what not. You can not co-op with trainers who don’t have the same badges as you. This helps from breaking the game and having over leveled trainers winning the game for you and/or breaking context sensitive portions you haven’t unlocked yet.
