>>54165951As one of like 10 people who actually like Inteleon on this board for non-porn related reasons, your redesign massively misses the mark and feels like a bunch of disparate elements, new and old, that jumble together to make a generic lizard monster that wouldn't feel out of place in any of the dime-a-dozen indie Pokemon ripoffs that come out constantly nowadays.
Firstly, the body shape really doesn't give any indication if it's supposed to be outright bipedal or only a facultative biped ala Pikachu. The way it's front limbs are used obviously indicated the former, but the noodly body and leg structure makes it seem incredibly awkward walking on two legs.
Secondly, the theming is almost entirely lost in most vestiges of the design, making the few ones that were kept relatively in-tact seem horridly out of place. The wetsuit pattern and water finger-guns hint at it being a spy, but the glider cape and tail knife not even being hinted at really come off as you not even realizing they were there in the first place. Ironically enough, the removal of these things link it even less so to it's natural analogue and make it seem less like a monster, given they were traits from several different lizard species mashed onto one and recontextualized to fit on one creature and serve an overall theme, which is basically Pokemon's MO at this point.
Lastly, I really feel like your changes also horribly muddied where the focus is even supposed to be on the design. The large hands, love them or hate them, drew eyes towards them due to their proportions and hard color shift from the rest of the arms/upper body, thus signaling that those were it's main mode of offense. In this design, the fact that they're of any importance is lost entirely. The silhouette isn't anywhere close to firearm iconography and the color palette blends far too much into the rest of the body. This is like shrinking Feraligatr's jaw or Blastoise's canons when redesigning them, it doesn't work.
